Happy Wheels has just been released coinciding with the impending and dramatic demise of Flash, which is a truly nerve-wracking event. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We hope that the worry over losing Happy Wheels hasn't disrupted your sleep. If you were unaware that the game was in development, here’s some exciting news: this marks the first public release. Please bear with us as we work to iron out any remaining bugs and glitches. Although I still prefer the Flash version, what I appreciate about this new release is its excellent performance on mobile devices. Currently, however, on-screen controls for mobile are not yet implemented—these will be introduced in the next update. Thank you for your patience. If you want to try it out on your phone right now, a Bluetooth keyboard will work perfectly. While I initially stated that the game runs at 60 frames per second, some of the more challenging levels may experience slight slowdowns at that framerate. Fortunately, this setting can be adjusted, and I’m considering hosting a version with a 60Hz refresh rate for users with more powerful CPUs. The rest of the game, Happy Wheels JS, aims to faithfully replicate the original in terms of design and gameplay. The user database, levels, and replays remain intact from the initial release. The only thing that has vanished is the impending end of the universe—so, quite a release! Use the arrow keys to move left and right, and press space to jump.
